2.1 eMIMSelite Offline Mode Guidelines

Starting/Setting-up the eMIMSelite App in Offline Mode

eMIMSelite app has the “Offline Mode” feature which allows us to use the app’s functionality even without a network or mobile connectivity.

Below are the steps to setup your eMIMSelite App to the “Offline Mode”.

  • Access the app on your mobile device – Login to the App.
  • Click on the four squared icon on the top tight corner of the app interface.
  • A dialogue box will open, click on the ‘Switch to Offline mode’ button.
  • Another dialogue box will open which prompts that the user is currently in ‘Online Mode’ and selecting offline mode would require data download.

Click on ‘Offline Mode’ button.

  • If this is your first time selecting the “Offline Mode”, it will download the Offline Database which is required for “Offline” access.  At this stage, wait for the database download to complete and refrain from switching or closing the eMIMSelite App since it will interrupt the updating process.

The offline database download window status will automatically close as soon as the database download is completed.

The user can now access the contents of the app in Offline Mode even without an internet connection.

eMIMSelite Offline Mode Trouble-shooting Guidelines

Sometimes downloading the offline database may not complete fully and there may be issues using the app offline features like the search and interactions checker.  In such cases, the cause of the issue may be due to a corrupted offline database, an incompatible device, or an outdated version. 

Below are some guidelines to help trouble-shoot your eMIMSelite app Offline mode.  Please ensure to review the following guidelines to successfully install and use the eMIMSelite Offline mode app:

  1. Ensure your device meet the minimum requirement specifications. See link: https://support.mims.com.au/emimselite-minimum-system-requirements/
  2. Logout then log-in back to the eMIMSelite app and redownload the Offline Database.

This is accomplished by clicking on the four squared icon on the top right corner of the app interface then selecting the “Yes” button to Logout and then after you have been logged out then please Login to the app again.

  • Click again the four squared icon on the top tight corner of the app then select “Re-download Offline Database”.

Wait for the database download to complete and refrain from switching or closing the eMIMSelite App since it will interrupt the updating process.
