Downloading MIMS Integrated Updates from FTP site – This information is for MIMS Integrated Software Partners Only
Starting 1 January 2025, the MIMS FTP server will no longer support non-secure FTP protocol. Downloading MIMS Integrated updates will require the use of either a browser (HTTPS protocol) or a secure FTP client (example: FileZilla), which uses either FTPS or SFTP protocol.
To access the MIMS FTP site, please follow the steps below.
1. Accessing via HTTPS (Web Browser)
- Open your web browser and type the following address in the address bar: https://ftp.mims.com.au, press Enter
- When prompted, Enter your username and password provided in your data notification email from MIMS.
- The FTP site will open in your browser window.
In this window, you can:

- Click on a folder to open it, then click the file you wish to download.
- For additional file information and download options, click the information icon next to the file.
2. Accessing via SFTP (using FileZilla)
- Open FileZilla and enter the following details:
- Host: ftp.mims.com
- Port: 22
- Username and Password: Use your MIMS credentials.
- Click Quickconnect to log in.
- The SFTP site will open in FileZilla, where you can access files securely.
3. Accessing via FTPS (using FileZilla)
- Open FileZilla and go to Edit > Site Manager to create a new connection.
- Enter the following connection details:
- Protocol: FTP – File Transfer Protocol
- Host: ftp.mims.com.au
- Port: 990
- Encryption: Require implicit FTP over TLS
- Logon Type: Normal
- Username and Password: Use your MIMS credentials.
- Click Connect to access the FTPS server.
- You’ll now be able to access your files.
