Problem:

Receiving error message “ActiveX Component Can’t Create Object” when trying to launch eMIMS

 

Possible Cause:

One of the reason this behaviour can occur is, if the Data Access Objects (DAO) is not properly registered.

 

Possible Solution:

To register DAO properly,

Go to Start – Run and type the following command:
regsvr32 “C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO\DAO360.DLL”
(include the quotation marks)
