9) Managing your devices and personal details

Applies to:  iMIMS

Background

When you registered to use iMIMS, a personal account was created for you in on our iMIMS Subscription Management System.  This system allows you to update your personal information and manage which of your devices is allowed to access iMIMS. Your iMIMS Licence allows you to install and use iMIMS on up to 2 devices.

From time to time you may be required to log into your account and manage your devices. This may happen if you already use iMIMS on 2 devices and decided to upgrade to a newer model.

Managing your Devices

This feature is available to both paid subscribers and enterprise users.

The example provided below is a common scenario, where a user (James) has 3 devices, two are active and one is inactive. James previously had only 2 devices (an iPhone and and iPad), but later purchased a new iPad to replace his previous one. When James installed iMIMS the new device was added to his iMIMS account but it is marked as inactive. James is required to log into his iMIMS account using a web browser to manage his devices.

Follow the steps below:

Step 1: Log into your iMIMS Account via the web page http://www.mims.com.au/iphone

After logging in you will see your current Account Details and a list of the Devices linked to your iMIMS licence.

A device may be Active (indicated by a green tick), or Inactive (no green tick).

The green tick will now appear for this device.

Step 4. You may now logout of the iMIMS Account Management screen or close your web browser.
